The ODD Methodology
Our process isn't complicated. Observe the full picture. Decide based on evidence. Deliver what actually moves the needle.
Three Steps. No Guessing.
Every engagement follows this framework. It keeps us honest and ensures we solve the right problem.
Observe
Understand your business, customers, offer, marketing, sales process, numbers, and existing problems. We look at the complete picture before making any assumptions.
Decide
Identify the most important bottleneck and determine what needs to change based on evidence and root-cause analysis. Not every problem needs the same solution.
Deliver
Implement the required solution and improve the parts of your business that affect sales. We focus on execution that drives measurable results.
Gap Analysis
Gap Analysis means comparing where your business is now with where you want to be. The gap tells us where to look — but not the cause.
Example
- 500 leads/month
- 10 sales/month
- 500 leads/month
- 30 sales/month
The main problem is not lead generation. The business already has leads. The gap is in conversion — qualification, sales conversation, offer, trust, objection handling, follow-up, or closing.
Root Cause Analysis
Root Cause Analysis means finding the actual reason behind a problem instead of treating the visible symptom. Surface answers are often wrong.
Example: The Checkout Problem
Problem: Sales are low.
Surface answer: "We need more ads."
But investigation shows:
- Ads → traffic is good
- Traffic → website visits are good
- Website → people understand the product
- Product page → many people add to cart
- Checkout → many people abandon
Root cause: Checkout/payment experience creates friction. More advertising is not the first solution. Fix the checkout problem first.
The 10-Point Diagnostic Framework
When evaluating a sales problem, we consider all ten areas. Not every business needs all ten fixed — we find the highest-impact bottleneck first.
Market
Are we targeting the right people?
Offer
Is there a strong enough reason to buy?
Message
Does the customer clearly understand the value?
Acquisition
Are enough relevant people entering the system?
Experience
Is the website or communication creating friction?
Sales
Are leads being handled properly?
Follow-up
Are opportunities being lost because nobody follows up?
Trust
Does the customer have enough confidence to buy?
Economics
Does the business make enough profit from each sale?
Retention
Do customers come back?
The Complete Customer Journey
When evaluating a business, we think through the full journey. Do not assume advertising is always the problem.
